Jeffrey Mueller, a long time i.a.t.s.e. member; plus affiliations with a.c.f.c., and owner and operator of Magpie Entertainment Company and Magpie Film Studio, have been providing Technical and Animation Services to many production companies and studios globally for over 20 years.
Jeffrey has all the education and film production experience as a Key Grip, Crane & Dolly Operator, Rigger, Camera Operator, Lighting Operator, Electrician and AV Technician/Operator. Plus having the education and experiences in the animation production industry where Jeffrey has also provided services as an Art Director, Production Designer, VFX Artist, 2D/3D Animator, Storyboard Artist/Revisionist, Concept/Layout, Background, Character Designer/Artist and more.
In 2014 Jeffrey's talents were needed on a Netflix animated television series production titled"Ever After High"; where Jeffrey was hired as the In-house Lead Storyboard Artist & Revisionist. As Jeffrey was settling into his new work space sketching boards for the new episodes from script, Jeffrey's quick ability to adapt to the structure of the series producing top quality works of art and staying ahead of schedule never went unnoticed. Jeffrey was immediately approached by the series producers and was asked to provide his expertise and knowledge to work along side the studio's directors on a 88 minute animated feature film titled, "Way Too Wonderland".
Jeffrey's extensive knowledge for the fields he works in are always used on different size productions on many levels within several different departments. Jeffrey's technical skills and very unique talents have also been called upon for Rock Shows, Broadway Stage Productions, Television Series and Feature Films such as Disney's pilot "Beyond", "Arrow (Season 4)", "The Magicians (Season 1)", "Chicago Tour", "Paul Anka & Peter Frampton Tour", "Culture Club Reunion Tour", and the"3 Days Grace World Tour"; these are just to name a few.
After battling and winning his fight with cancer in 2015 Jeffrey Mueller had made a very strong come back in early 2016; hired as the"Key Grip" for seasons 2 & 3 of the popular Netflix original television series "Project Mc2". Jeffrey provided his own crews, an unlimited supply of all the best grip gear/equipment, fabrics and supplies for completing all 12 episodes for the series. Which received 7 major film awards, including a 2016 Daytime Emmy Nomination for, "Best Children's TV Series". With the success of the TV series in 2016, Jeffrey will be rejoining the Netflix series production to resume his roll as the"Key Grip" to shoot 13 new episodes for the television series starting principal photography March 2017.
In order for Jeffrey to be involved with many union and non-union productions with such a high degree of expertise, Jeffrey has taken all the necessary education and i.a.t.s.e. certification training and received all his tickets for operating Dollies, Techno Camera Cranes, Elevated Platforms, Scissor Lifts, Arial Booms up to 80 ft, WHMIS, Fall Protection; and Live Performance Electrical Certificate.
Jeffrey Mueller has built the foundation for a career in the Entertainment Industry by 1995 receiving an Honors Certificate from the National Institute of Broadcasting, then a few years later graduated from Fine Arts & Animation Media College. Plus through Internships and Co-op programs gave Jeffrey the opportunity to study & work along side many Industry leaders.
Today Jeffrey has well rounded out his unique skills and many years of experiences making his Media, Animation, Television and Film Production career vision into a reality by providing rock shows, theatre, animation, television and feature film production services to major companies and studios globally.
